Solar controller and monitor

The use of a controller in combination with solar panels or a wind turbine is necessary to ensure optimal battery charging and to protect the batteries from overcharging. All the proposed regulators have a three-phase charging cycle (recommended for efficient recharging of service batteries) with temperature compensation.

Note the new generation of MPPT solar regulators which, in addition to protecting the battery, can increase the production of solar panels by 10 to 30% (depending on the battery voltage and the type of panel) compared to a conventional regulator. These regulators are clearly of interest on a boat where space is limited.
