H07VK cable

The VK cable is a resistant cable which will be useful to ensure the electrical distribution inside the boat. Compared to the RNF cable, it has the advantage of a smaller diameter for the same copper section. Its rigidity allows it to pass easily in the sheaths.

On the other hand, it cannot be used without a sheath in an area where scraping is possible or in an area likely to contain hydrocarbons (engine hold) without an associated sheath. This range is available from 1 mm² to 35 mm² in red or black color.

Characteristics of H07VK cable - 6mm2

  • Bare copper core, class 5
  • Black or red elastomer insulation - Lead free
  • For the same copper section, smaller diameter than H07RNF - Maximum temperature on the core + 60°C in mobile,
  • 85°C in fixed and protected
  • 200°C in short circuit
  • Ambient temperature of use -25°C to 55°C

Requires an ICTA sheath if the cable is placed in areas likely to be in contact with hydrocarbons and areas where there is significant chafing.

Available by the meter or in 100m coils, red or black
