For more information on system sizing and safety constraints, you can refer to the manual. When batteries are paralleled, the charge/discharge currents are naturally added.
- Lithium batteries can absorb their full capacity when charged. It is normal to be apprehensive about the heat generated by the alternator to supply this current. Installing an alternator charger with a temperature sensor will allow you to optimize your charging while protecting your alternator from possible overheating.
