- Lithium batteries can absorb all their capacity in charge. It is normal to be apprehensive about the heat generated by the alternator to supply this current. The installation of an alternator charger or a battery charger with a temperature sensor will allow you to optimize your charging while preserving your alternator from possible overheating.
