GEL battery 12V 160 Ah - Seatronic

Seatronic GEL batteries are maintenance-free batteries designed specifically to meet the cycling requirements of service batteries. Their quality of construction will ensure a reliable and efficient power source on board.

Advantages of SEATRONIC Gel batteries :

LIFETIME: Thanks to its hybrid technology, SEATRONIC batteries have a lifespan of 12 years in normal use.
MAINTENANCE-FREE: Thanks to their gas recombination system, SEATRONIC batteries do not require any maintenance during their entire life.
FULLY SEALED: The gel electrolyte prevents leakage even when the battery is held upside down. A safety valve ensures that the battery is sealed and no off-gassing will occur during normal operation.
SAFETY: The safety valve prevents any outgassing.
HYBRID TECHNOLOGY WITH AGMTM FIBRE SEPARATOR: The use of AGM fibre separator allows a fluid flow of current and offers remarkable performances in charge/discharge. This type of separator allows SEATRONIC batteries to have the best of the technology by combining AGM (for its charge/discharge performance) and GEL (for its cycling performance).
GREATLY LIMITED RISK OF SULFATATION: A major advantage of gel batteries is the possibility of leaving the battery discharged for a short period of time without causing irreversible damage (greatly reduced risk of sulphation). As the main cause of wear and tear of on-board batteries is related to sulphation, this is a decisive point in the choice of on-board batteries.
