24V alternator protection box

The main cause of failure on a boat alternator is wiring problems or unintentional cuts in the charging circuit that suddenly disconnect the alternator from the batteries when the engine is running. These failures can be due to a loose connection at a terminal, a problematic fuse, or an error in handling a circuit breaker. This is usually fatal to the alternator's regulator if it is not protected.

The alternator protection box allows the arc generated in these conditions to discharge through it, thus protecting the alternator from any problems.
