CONTROL SIGNAL

This relay is the simplest and most economical in the sterling relay range, it connects two batteries (usually the engine battery and the service battery) as soon as the engine is running. This relay must be activated by a +12V (or +24V) signal called plus contact (signal active as soon as the motor is running). The range extends from 80 to 240A and there are 12 and 24 volt models.
Typical application: Small and medium units with two independent batteries but no large consumers (converter, windlass) that could exceed the rated power of the relay.
